It has been windy here in Montana.
I was with some other local pastors recently for a time of prayer and I commented
about the wind. One of the other pastors said he watched a guy's
hat blow off on the way to our gathering, and it reminded him of an old Montana
tradition. If your hat blows off, you just let it go rolling down the
trail and somebody else can have it. Then you just wait for somebody
else's hat to blow your direction. If that one doesn't fit when you
put it on, you let it blow off too and wait for the next hat to come blowing
along. If the hat fits, wear it.
I
hope that your sails are full of the Holy Spirit today and that God is blowing
good things your direction.
John 3:8 "The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." Ps 78:26 "He let loose the east wind from the heavens and led forth the south wind by his power." NIV James 1:17 "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." Would you like to be on the reminder list?
